More importantly, it led me to the world of American comics, and arouse my interests in superheroes.
It genuinely is a life-changing musical!!!
Spoiler Alert!
The background of Batman is a lot like the comics, in which his parents get mugged and shot to death by a villain. He decides that he would become a vigilante "Batman" and protect Gotham City, so what happened to him would never happen again.
Sounds really serious, right?(By the way, I really love the voice of the narrator, Dylan Saunders.)
However, in this musical, Batman is actually a normal guy who needs friends.

One day, Batman meets Superman at a ceremony, and both of them are jealous of each other!
Batman can't tolerate that Superman flies faster than his jet while Superman envies Batman's popularity.

And then, a new-in-city villain, Sweet Tooth, shows up.
He is really good at puns(about snacks XDD), and decides to destroy Gotham City.

Knowing that Batman is lonely, Alfred brings back an orphaned acrobat, Dick Grayson. Batman and Dick soon realize they have a lot in common, and thus becoming friends.

Batman then reveals his secret identity, in a funny way!

This Batman is so adorable that I almost can't handle it XDDDD
Dick also reveals his wish to become his sidekick, Robin! Together they put down many villains in Gotham City happily.

Sweet Tooth instantly finds out that Batman has a weak spot, Robin.
Therefore, he captures Robin and sets up a Facebook poll, letting the citizens decide whether to kill Robin or be poisoned by the lethally-sour Warhead Sweet Tooth would put in the water supply.
Seeing Batman struggling between saving Gotham City or Robin, Alfred returns and comforts him.

The appearance of panic on his face is so hilarious XDDDD
Batman eventually decides to rescue Robin, believing that the citizens will vote for their lives. Accordingly, President Barack Obama sends Superman to stop him.

By the way, the text book of my English speaking class is American Ways, so every time I see my text book, I can't help but laugh XDDD

After defeating Superman by Kryptonite, a material that can weaken Superman, Batman saves Robin. However, Sweet Tooth still successfully poisons the water supply.
Robin finally wakes up, and checks the Facebook poll.
Batman regretfully finds out that the citizens vote to sacrifice their lives instead of killing Robin.
Remorsefully, he puts aside his jealousy of Superman and calls him to save the day.
Superman flies so fast around the world that he reverses the rotation of the Earth, traveling back in time and stopping the tragedy(which pays respect to the Superman movie in 1978)!
With the new friendship, Batman and Superman form the Super Friends together with other superheroes and there's no more dark, sad , and lonely Batman!

I love how they portray heroes in the musical. We may think heroes is very different from normal people; however, there are many things we have in common. We both want friendship and parents' love! We then would realize, if we had superpower or techniques, we could be heroes ourselves! I think that's what Holy Musical B@man about.
